In 1968 Ferrari replaced the 330 2+2 with the 365 GT 2+2.
As all the great supercars from the sixties this was a sexy and elegant Ferrari and you couldn’t expect anything else coming from Pininfarina’s “hands”.
Packed with a 4.4 litre V12 this was an outstanding grand tourer fit for the gentleman driver to take the family out for a drive every weekend.
But the purpose of this article is not to present this car.
As 2017 arrives and attention keeps turning to late 70’s and 80’s cars this stands as a reminder of days where lust and elegance inspired designers. If you can sense the seduction in every curve and angle in the bodywork of these cars I guess you can call yourself a romantic.
