The Heuer Carrera is one of the most prestigious chronographs ever made. It’s superlative when it comes to beautiful watches inspired in motor racing.
It all started in 1963, lasted through, the 70’s and 80’s, and then in the 90’s the Carrera ended with its last generation (the 5th), a low cost line, as a result of the merger with TAG (Techniques d’Avant Garde), back in the 80’s.
Through its existence the Carrera was given automatic and quartz mechanisms, and in the 80’s the machine was made by another company Lemania.
Here’s a little bit of the Carrera’s history, in images.
